These photos to the left exhibit a recent irrigation system reconfiguration in Winter Park, Florida. This project was required to improve the existing sprinkler coverage.
An irrigation system reconfiguration was necessary because the lawn and plants on the property had different watering needs, thus zones were needed for each section.
The original situation in the front yard showed insufficient rotors to provide proper coverage, and the spacing was poor, leaving dry areas of the lawn.
In this irrigation project we removed the existing rotors and installed Hunter rotator nozzles on Rail Bird spray bodies.
Our primary objective was to use rotators that distributed less water in zones that needed less water, and still obtain proper spray coverage for this customer’s lawn.
An additional irrigation zone was even installed to assure appropriate operating pressure was maintained. The project was completed with even water distribution throughout, and correct head to head coverage.
