What is Backflow Testing and Why is It Important?
A “backflow” may occur in the event of a decrease in pressure in the public water system – such as a water main leak or when a hydrant has been opened near your home. This decrease in pressure creates a vacuum-like effect, causing non potable water to flow into (and potentially contaminate) the public water supply.
To prevent this from occurring, it’s critical that your system be tested on a regular basis. In fact, homeowners may not be aware that in Florida it is mandatory that every backflow device get tested annually to ensure that your potable water supply is protected from contamination.
Residential backflow assemblies and devices have parts that can break down and wear out, so trust us to repair any defects and certify your water safety.
Our Florida backflow prevention certificate number is L01-09-8360.
A pressure vacuum breaker type backflow assembly.

My service started w/ requirements by the city to have the Back Flow Valve tested. I mentioned I was having difficulties completing replacing this property’s sprinkler heads to the H/O Association Mgr. It was suggested I ask Hessenauer as they are most popular in our community for many areas for sprinkler and irrigation.
I got a comprehensive estimate for four involved major aspects needing to be addressed. One of the two founders of this family owned and operated husband/wife team came and managed to complete everything in one day. I was amazed at his superb skill-set, as welI as, installing state of the art quipment to decisely conquer the issues for me professionally.
I am extremely pleased that I went with Hessenauer and highly recommend anyone whom wants proven quality workmanship to address their needs as well.
