The residential customer’s system was originally set up using a cyclermatic valve that was beyond repair, and needed an upgrade.
If you have a system installed with a cyclermatic valve, keep in mind it is a very old design that can be problematic with age.
As our customer experienced, the zone switching disc can swell and stick inside the chamber not allowing the valve to swap zones.
This project required a new digital controller so the electric valves can be operated in sequence or independently as required.
The result was an upgrade to a more reliable irrigation system with state-of-the-art technology and enhanced performance.
