Beginning Sunday, November 1st, watering your lawn will be limited to once a week for Central Floridians.
Anyone who is caught watering their lawns when they are not supposed to could be subject to penalties.
More than half of residential water use is often landscape sprinkler irrigation.
For residences that end in an odd number, watering is allowed on Saturdays, and for even numbered addresses, watering is allowed on Sundays. Nonresidential landscape irrigation is allowed on Tuesdays.
The restriction applies throughout central Florida, but enforcement depends on where you live. This curfew on landscape irrigation extends until daylight savings time returns in March.
