Our customer had a burned out irrigation pump motor because the old one sat in dirt and mulch, plus the pipes were poorly fit.
The solution was installing a new Berkeley 1-1/2 horsepower centrifugal irrigation pump to draw water from their shallow well.
The new pump was properly installed mounted onto a concrete paver to avoid this reoccuring. The check valve was also replaced.
Intake and discharge pipes were also matched with the correct size pvc pipe for the 2 inch intake and 1-1/2 inch discharge ports.
